This trip was a fast-paced adventure through the heart of Western Europe. In just a short time, I was able to experience the unique cultures of the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, all connected by a series of train rides.

Arrival in Amsterdam

Starting the European adventure in the city of canals.

My journey began with a flight from Toronto to Amsterdam, with a quick layover in Iceland. Arriving in the Netherlands, I was immediately charmed by the city’s famous canals and unique architecture. I spent the first part of my trip exploring the vibrant streets and soaking in the lively atmosphere.

A Belgian Interlude: Antwerp & Brussels

A quick journey through two of Belgium's most famous cities.

From Amsterdam, I hopped on a train to Antwerp, Belgium. After exploring the city, I continued on to Brussels. It was a quick tour through Belgium, but I enjoyed tasting the famous chocolates and waffles and seeing the historic city centers.

Paris, the City of Light

Ending the main leg of the trip in the French capital.

The next leg of my journey took me by train from Brussels to Paris. I spent my time in the French capital wandering through its iconic neighborhoods, visiting landmarks, and enjoying the city’s romantic charm.

The Journey Home

A final train ride and flight back across the Atlantic.

To end my trip, I took a long train ride from Paris all the way back to Amsterdam. After a night at an airport hotel, I caught my flight back to Toronto, once again with a layover in Iceland. It was a whirlwind tour of three countries, made easy by the efficient European rail network.
